Byun Shi-Ji 100th Anniversary Exhibition: Where Do We Come From and Where Are We Going?

* Period: June 23 (Tue) – September 27 (Sun) * Venue: Seogwipo Gidang Art Museum * Hosted by: Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korean Museum Association, Seogwipo City * Organized by: Seogwipo Gidang Art Museum, Seongbuk-gu Museum of Art * Details: The Seogwipo Gidang Art Museum has prepared a special exhibition to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of artist Byun Si-ji.

This exhibition deeply illuminates the philosophy and contemplation of "Byun Si-ji the Man," who established his own unique artistic style amidst fundamental questions such as "Where did I come from, where am I going, and what kind of being am I?" We look forward to your visit.

* Touring Exhibition: Following the exhibition at the Gidang Art Museum, the exhibition will proceed to Seoul.

In collaboration with the Seongbuk-gu Museum of Art (selected for the 'K-Museum Regional Touring Exhibition Support Project,' hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korean Museum Association), the exhibition will be held at the Korea University Museum from October 6 to November 18.
