Seongwoo Barbershop

Seongwoo Barbershop is the oldest barbershop in Seoul, opened around 1927 and passed down through three generations of the family.

It has remained in the same location for nearly 100 years and still retains its traditional culture.

They pride themselves on using only scissors and combs to give each customer a haircut that best suits their head and face shape.

Seongwoo Barbershop was transformed into its current form through a project supported by the Seoul Metropolitan Government to prevent the loss and damage of Seoul's future heritage after the building collapsed due to a typhoon in 2019.
