Itaewon Books, which has been around since 1973, is the oldest foreign used bookstore in Seoul.
It was founded in 1967 by a U.S.
military unit that collected and delivered used books to bookstores and operated a stall with leftover books.

A few years later, in 1973, he opened his own bookstore, where he has remained for over 40 years.
