2026 SEOUL LIGHT HANGANG BITSEOM FESTIVAL is Korea's largest waterfront laser art festival, staged along the Hangang River in Seoul.
The 2026 SEOUL LIGHT HANGANG BITSEOM FESTIVAL is Seoul's flagship night-time media art festival, connecting art, nature and the city through light.
This year it unfolds 'Rhapsody of Light' on Nodeul Island, weaving the energy of the Hangang River - water and fire, earth, air and life - into a single narrative.
In the outdoor areas of Nodeul Island, large-scale laser installations and media art by world-renowned media artists are on display, while the connecting bridge and the entrance areas are brought to life with a promenade of light and projection mapping.
Indoors, kinetic works, installations, video pieces and audiovisual performances follow one after another, and together with a university participation programme, the whole of Nodeul Island takes on a new night-time landscape where light and nature meet.
